Take the Challenge!

If you’ve read my blog, worked with me, or heard me speak at a seminar then you know that I absolutely believe in meal planning. It’s an important part of home management and it can really save you time and money. It can take a little bit of effort up front, but it is absolutely worth it in the long run. Today, to take meal planning one step further, a fellow blogger would like you to rise up to a new challenge!  Drum roll please……..  Eat all of your meals, varied and healthy, on a $25 a week budget! Yes, you read that right… $25 a week!

My friend ~ the very fun-loving and hard-working ~ Terri Ring, creator of the $25 a Week Grocery Challenge blog, will share with you savvy creative ways to stretch your budget. From comfort foods to casseroles… She’ll give you recipes, photos, meal plans for the week, inspirational versus, and moreAnd no, you don’t have to go for the dollar menu at McDonald’s or “nitrate laden hotdogs” (as Terri says) to make this happen. 🙂

She offers great insights and helpful tips. My favorite thing about the blog is that Terri really gets you to think about the reason behind the challenge: financial awareness & control, and self-discipline.  (You can read her first post to really understand her motives and set the tone for the whole thing.)

So take the challenge and explore your pantry, freezer, and refrigerator
